Crowdestates offers a new type of developer financing to real estate developers. I was recruited to work on the project after the team lost their CTO. I coded up the initial prototype to speed up the build. I also recruited and managed a team for 2 developers in Poland, implementing weekly code sprints and agile methodologies. I focused on cutting down the non-essential features and focused on just the essentials for a MVP. This allowed us to launch faster (in 40 days) and start learning more from the customer needs. After launch, I conducted several usability studies and focused on customer growth and improving the user experience.

Switchboard

Switchboard is a cloud based email processing framework created by the core engineers at Spatch (Techstars Spring 2013 cohort). I was recruited to help Spatch launch Switchboard as an open source project with a goal to build a good will momentum towards Spatch during fundraising period. My team was in charge of picking the right licensing, marketing and building momentum, selecting target audience, branding and coding contribution. My main job was to help create a demo app to ship along with the open source body and helped building API documentation.
The product launch was extremely successful. It was trending on top of Hackernews and Github and got very positive reviews from the developer community. Spatch became the most successful startup in the Techstars Spring cohort and raised $3.7 M.

Languatics

Langatics is a language learning and travel agency, which targets native English speakers with interest to learn Spanish, French, Italian, Russian, and Mandarin. This was my first start-up which I build after graduating university. I led a team of 5 through 3 pivots, redifining strategy and shifting team to a new vision. I coded up the first versions of the website using PHP, HTML and CSS and later hired engineers while I focused on the business side.
